Over the past two years I have noticed that there is a great obsession about Buttocks. The female human Buttocks. I am quite flummoxed and don’t quite know what to make of it. What is the attraction toward a bigger rear end? Why has a big rear end become a singular mark of beauty and desire?

In my world view, my bottom end was just the part of me that housed my anus, and is the part of me that allowed me to sit down comfortably on a chair to take a load from my feet. My bottom was where the doctor gave me injections, the place where I got spankings when I was a girl and perhaps needed a spanking, (can’t say I ever needed one). It was the part of me that was there because it offered balance to my framework and because of it I had a certain shape that was distinctly human. All human beings have rear ends.

Today society dictates that all female Butts need to be big and sort of apple-shaped. Larger than life. That when {she} passes you by all the male heads swivel and they instinctively caress their cod pieces. So revered, that almost every hip hop or reggae song is dedicated to the rhythm of the Butt. When I consulted with a friend on the subject, I was told that it had to do with sexual desire. I am at a loss and very disturbed.

My street cred has diminished and I no longer attract cat calls. My Butt is regular, very regular.  tell me Sir, what does my Butt say about me when I pass you by that would leave a man panting and salivating? I had no idea that cannibalism was on the rise here in America. Why else would a fat, big Butt be desirable to a man unless he wished to eat me. Do not misconstrue my words or twist my thinking, I sincerely mean what I am implying (jokes are off). Seriously!!

Since posing this question to all who would listen I haven’t yet received any answer that satisfies my understanding of Butt craving. Should I be ashamed of my derriere? I have a beautiful mouth; is that not desirable? Sigh!!!
