LOVE IS A TYRANT.
They say love is a tyrant and will stop at nothing because the heart must have its way.
Yet,
When dromedaries cross the desert their suitable feet turn the sands of eternal time
where love abides,
The warm sand sometimes cold, sometimes harsh, yet always soft for sleeping.
Time is always the same in the desert of each heart,
Spotted oases, teasing reality.
Time that cannot be counted or measured, it doesn’t exist,
Like the dromedaries, entrust their existence to the forever desert,
Let me now entrust myself to you
To take care of me,
My heart, my body
Guard my soul as it cross the timeless desert with you
Follow me into eternity and dwell with me
Among the angels forever in peace.
In peace and surety
Not like this earth’s movements
Volatile and surprising, exciting, yet dangerous
Times of grist and confused emotions
Experiences that create memories-
Yet, I long for eternity-
Serenity
Something other
That I don’t understand
I found you,
Cross with me, dwell with me
Teach me as I will teach you.
